Our about

We are Abaato Caring Initiative, we started operating way back in 2018, we impact approximately 500 children every year through our activities ranging from charities to sports.

We focus mostly on making basic needs such as shelter, food, education, clothings, etc accessible by all kids in our communities.

Currently our children are between 3 – 17 years, this age group is changing over time as we continue to stretch our hand to more children and people from different walks of life. 

 

Abaato is a Luganda word that means the young people which clearly tells that our main focus is on the Young generation as we know that they are the future.

We are a Community Organization based in Uganda in East Africa, we focus mainly on positively impacting the lives of children who are Orphaned and those from poverty stricken families whose access to basic needs such as Food, Shelter, Education, Medical care among other needs.

Hug For Education

Hug for Education is an Education charity under Abaato Caring Initiative, it was introduced in 2019 and it takes place thrice every year at the beginning of each of the three terms on the Uganda School Calendar with the main goal of making Education accessible to all Children in our communities.

Feeding

Abaato has 10 children who reside at the center and there for they have to eat a daily meal, putting that aside we have families in our communities whom we support with food sometimes due to their less ability to fully provide for their families because of different factors.
